FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is non-binding mediation?
Non-binding mediation is an attempt to resolve your case prior to trial. Typically, the parties and their attorneys meet informally with a mediator and attempt to resolve the case. At all times you will have the final say as to whether to accept a settlement or not. The mediation is confidential and nothing said at the mediation can be used at trial. The non-binding aspect of the mediation means that the mediator can only suggest a settlement, not impose one.
